if there is no driver for the hardware already installed in the first place, there is nothing to update and DD doesn't even 'see' the printer. ![]() I have also tried my Driver Detective software and like all driver update apps. I Have installed that Driver 'add-on' mentioned in the early posts 3 times just to make sure and restarted my pc 3 times too (just to make sure) and no driver has been installed and the printer is useless. No tick in the W7 column means not compatible (tick= compatable), or has my logic completely deserted me? ![]() Thanks Nibiru, but I've seen that Canon page before from my previous (weeks of) googling around the net and for the life of me I see no 'tick' in the W7 column for the ip1500 printer, or am I missing something?Īs stated at the of the top of the page image, it is a "Compatibility List".
